How HRG Tree Surgeons Started

The story of how HRG Tree Surgeons started. At the age of 24, I was made redundant…

After which it gave me time to work out what I wanted from life, and one of those things was to start a business. Throughout my career I had made it clear to people along the way, my goals in life. Then came a phone call from a client of the former company that I worked for offering me work, enough to start a business.

This is how HRG started. Little did we know that the 2008 banking crash would happen and the country would go into recession.

Luckily we had very small overheads (running the business from of a single garage at our rented home in Hythe Southampton) and managed to weather the storm. 12 years on we have grown the company to employ 16 team members with a strong company culture that we are very proud of.
